Publisher's Description
'I have spent the last two years of my life traveling America, living in a 1960 vintage Airstream Travel Trailer with my girlfriend and fellow artist, Heather Howard, and our mutual friend, Henry Crow Dog. Mostly we have traveled along old two lane roads seeking out and photographing the landscapes and people who still live in that other America that the interstates and shopping malls have relegated to a forgotten space. We have searched for an American way of life that continues to be irrevocably altered by our often unquestioning infatuation with technology and progress. It is my fear that much of what is valuable and definitive about this great country continues to vanish unnoticed. You hold in your hands the first rough edit of this photographic work. Working with equipment and technologies that are rapidly vanishing, the Palladium Printing Process and Polaroid Positive-Negaive film, I feel a kinship with the people and places I've photographed in that I too may be forced to give up the old ways.' -David Michael Kennedy, from the introduction

This is a limited edition printing of this book. It was published in April of 2006 and is an edition of 45 signed and numbered books plus 4 numbered Artist Proofs.
