George Platt Lynes began working on a book of portraits shortly before his death in 1955. Though no information exists concerning his original selection for the project, this beautiful monograph brings together an impressive body of this work for the first time. Included are pieces from Paris to his later work in New York City. Colette, Marsden Hartley, Igor Stravinsky and Gertrude Stein along with many rarely seen portraits comprise this important collection of this influential photographer. Read Publisher's Description.
