Publisher's Description
The first documentation of an on-going ‘Sex & Technology’ project by Belgian artist Anne-Mie van Kerckhoven. Initiated by an invitation to contribute to an art-attack on private interiors in the old town of Bruges, Belgium, Van Kerckhoven worked with digitalised images of women and words from the fields of Artificial Intelligence as a reaction to the old house of Guido Gezelle, a famous priest-poet who hated women. Each spread includes one digitalised image and a mirror image of the image with selected words.
